“We learn from history that we do not learn from history“
                                                                                                                   Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel

Recently I came to realization that some results of my archive digging might worth to be known by a wider community of people, rather than just a close circle of friends and pen pals. Some facts are more interesting than just a trivia, another ones are very little known, yet still important events from seventy-plus years ago.

With that in mind, I thought of creation of a website for those interested in history of the WW2 in Northern Pacific. While not attempting to compete with existing successful internet forums on the subject of WWII, I want to build an online resource for researchers, historians, and modelers alike.

Starting in English and Russian, I am looking forward to attract attention of Japanese students of the history of WW2, whose participation in the blog will be warmly welcomed.

Welcome to the North Pacific Skies!

Boris
